VERMILION TOWNSHIP - An unoccupied minivan owned by Willoway Nursery sustained heavy damage when a train hit it late Wednesday night after the vehicle apparently stalled on a private grade railroad track.
Erie County Sheriff's Capt. Paul Sigsworth said deputies determined the 1992 Plymouth Voyager was in drive after they checked it. The crash happened at 11:55 p.m. on the Cleveland Road business property about 1/10 mile west of Frailey Road.
