Tom Hall completes his trainingas local Scout district executive

Tom Hall, district executive for the Heart of Ohio Council, Boy Scouts of America serves the youth of Erie and Huron counties. This service area is known as the Firelands District.

On July 20, Hall completed Professional Development Level III in Westlake, Texas.

Completion of this week-long training program wraps up his commission with the Boy Scouts of America. As a fully commissioned professional, Hall will continue to serve the youth of Erie and Huron counties. He plans to create more opportunities for youth to join the scouting program.

“Tom brings great management and leadership to our district operations,” said Jim Ewell, District Chairman for the Firelands District.

The Heart of Ohio Council serves 1,800 youth in Erie and Huron counties.

A total of 332 adult volunteers help deliver the scouting program each week in 21 Boy Scout Troops, 22 Cub Scout Packs, two Venturing Crews, and four Career Exploring Posts.
