"We are not a godly nation, but we can strive to be godly people. A people who talk to God, but more importantly listen to Him."

Retiring Huron County Court of Common Pleas Judge Earl McGimpsey issued "A Call to Prayer" this morning as about 100 people gathered at First Presbyterian Church to celebrate National Day of Prayer.

The Rev. Adrian Doll welcomed guests and offered a prayer for this nation.

Other speakers were Norwalk Mayor Sue Lesch, John Flickinger, Cynthia Kniffin and the Rev. Frank Kehres.
