It's springtime in Ohio and it's budget time in Columbus. It's good to know we have a "freedom of choice" governor now to lead us.
Oh, wait; silly me! He is only for "freedom of choice" when it comes to the act of murdering defenseless babies in the womb. When it comes to the choice of where parents would like their children to go to school (vouchers), or whether abstinence teaching should be funded by the state, he has decided that choice does not apply.
The proposed budget presented by the honorable Ted Strickland does away with these "freedom of choice" ideas. I am sure taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood is still included in his budget. Tax money is OK to kill in the womb, but it is not OK for a chance for a good education or for programs that promote a moral and healthy lifestyle.
What hypocrisy. What a screwed-up line of thinking is involved in the mind of a liberal Democrat. As long as Planned Parenthood, NARAL, Emily's List and the teacher's unions are in the Democratic Party's wallets and purses, that is what we are always going to get from them.
Where is the voice of the so-called pro-life Democrats or is that an oxymoron?
