Snow extends SC school year

GREENWICH The South Central school district has exceeded the number of state-allowed calamity days, so officials have decided to extend the school year.
The state allows districts to call off classes up to five times. After that, districts must make up the days missed. In South Central's case, adverse weather forced the district to use all five plus one.
