School goes high-tech

AVERY - Texting, dialing and clicking their way through the day is so much a part of current youth culture that it may seem as if hospitals attach remote controls to newborns in the delivery room.

Acting on the reality that teens and technology are a natural pair, EHOVE Career Center is benefiting from a training system that promotes the remote. As a regular part of classroom instruction, students in the transportation technologies (auto tech/auto body and diesel tech) programs use the electronic devices to participate in computerized lessons over a TV monitor through the Student Response System (SRS).
