"The Norwalk Rotary wants to thank everyone in the community who supported the event and made it a success," event chairman Tom Kueterman said.
"From the pizzerias that provided such great food; Norwalk City Schools administration and students for providing the location, as well as help setting up and cleaning up the event; local Army & Marine servicemen who took time from their busy days to be our pizza judges; and local businesses that provided gifts for our raffle and sponsored tickets for school children," Kueterman said.
Christie Lane Workshop recycled 55 pounds of aluminum and plastic, as well as 300 pounds of cardboard, generated from the event.
