Milan to request replacement levy on Nov. ballot

MILAN - Village officials will ask residents in November to approve a 3.5-mill replacement levy to provide operating funds for village services.

The current levy has been in place since 1983, and generates a little less than $54,000 each year. If passed the replacement levy would bring in $113,000 per year, village administrator Bruce Bowie said.
