Local students not following trend of increased AP test taking

While more students across Ohio and nationwide are taking Advanced Placement tests, local schools say their numbers have remained steady.

From 2005 to 2006, the number of Ohio students taking AP tests increased about 9 percent, according to a report from the College Board, which runs the AP program. During the same period, the numbers nationwide increased about 10 percent.
