Local library lauding 150th anniversary of the Firelands Historical Society

It's not nice to gossip about neighbors, but our next door neighbor is 150 years old. The Firelands Historical Society is made up of two buildings the Preston-Wickham House (the museum) at 4 Case St. and the Laning-Young Research Center across Monroe Street.

When the Firelands Memorial Building opened in 1905, it housed the museum and lecture hall on the bottom floor and the library primarily on the main floor.
