Norwalk Public Library
The Norwalk Public Library young adult department is having a Teen Cookie Bake-Off Saturday in the library meeting room. Grades six through 12 may participate.
Participants are to bring one dozen home-baked cookies along with the recipe between 1 and 1:30 p.m. The judging will begin at 1:45 p.m. Judging will be on taste, appearance and neat/accurate written or printed recipe.
Prizes awarded for first, second and third place. Call or come in to register.
Tiny Tot Club members meet from 10 to 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 to 7 p.m. today and Feb. 15.
Bellevue Public Library
BELLEVUE A Manga drawing workshop for ages 12 to 16 is being sponsored by Bellevue Public Library.
Manga is art of Japanese cartooning. The program will be held in the library meeting room at 2 p.m. Saturday. Drawing paper and other supplies will be provided by the library.
The two-hour workshop will be conducted by Russell Merritt, an active watercolor artist, cartoonist an Sumi-e artist. He is an instructor at the Works Museum, the Zanesville Art Center and C-Tech in Norwalk. He is a student of Asian culture and history, and utilizes the Sumi-e technique in much of his own art and freelance work. He owns Banshuwa Studio. His work has been in galleries and shows throughout Ohio.

Milan-Berlin Township Library
BERLIN HEIGHTS On Saturday, a winter book sale will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Berlin Heights Library, 4 E. Main St., Berlin Heights.
A large number of books including mystery novels, science fiction, travel, history, animals, pets, young adult selections, and video tapes plus CDs are available for purchase at low prices.
Members of the Friends of the Milan-Berlin Township Library will have an opportunity to purchase books during a private preview of the sale from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. (Memberships available at the sale).
