North Fairfield Public Library

NORTH FAIRFIELD North Fairfield Public Library presents "Books Meet the Big Screen."

Starting Monday, children of all ages will have the opportunity to vote for the movie they want to see at the library. These aren't just any movies. They were once just books. Now, they have been created into some of the favorite movies to watch. On Aug. 15, we will tally up the votes to see which two videos will be playing in the North Fairfield Library's children's room. You are allowed one vote per day.

The library is offering free computer classes in the state of Ohio Library mobile lab Aug. 21 through 24. The lab is a 35-foot bus equipped with 10 networked PCs, a digital projector and a printer. For your comport the lab is fully air conditioned, heated and is equipped with a wheelchair ramp for handicapped accessibility. Offered are basic e-mail, basic Internet, basic Microsoft Word, basic Powerpoint, Creative MySpace ideas and My Library Account. Classes are limited to nine persons so registration is required. Call the North Fairfield Public Library at (419) 744-2285 to reserve a spot on the bus.
