Leaders don't care about collusion

Regarding last week's roast of gas prices in Norwalk: No Kidding! This has been going on for years. Today (Oct. 1, 2007), the price in Elyria was $2.50 to $2.55 per gallon, in Norwalk, $2.85 per gallon. This means that a 15-gallon purchase, in Norwalk, would cost up to $5.25 more than the same purchase in Elyria. That's enough to buy lunch!

I figure that well over $1 million, per year, is being unjustly siphoned (pun intended) off the top of the Norwalk economy by the local gasoline retailers. I'm quite sure that other businesses in this community would like to have a share of that $1 million in their cash registers. But very few people, including the leaders in this town, seem to care.

It would be a shame if a Class Action Lawsuit had to be filed to right this wrong.
