JUST LIKE OLD TIMES - Digging holes in Huron a hit or miss job

I'm still taking it easy and celebrating my 35th anniversary of writing this column, so I'll share a number of short stories with you. These are vignettes of interest, which I find while doing my research.
In 1892, a Norwalk lady had a dream or revelation that a large treasure of gold was buried near a house on New State Road near the "Country Club" building at Eagle Creek. So strong was her dream that her father and brother equipped themselves and went to the spot to start digging. Of all things, the property owner objected until they had an agreement giving him half of any treasure found.
