If Vick's guilty, throw the penalty flag at him

I was in Columbus last week for a couple days of meetings (the 18-hole kind) when the story broke on the grand jury indictment of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick on animal cruelty charges in connection with the dog fighting operation he was alleged to have been operating.
I'm not unfamiliar with the Vick clan and their brushes with the law. They are bad news. Shortly after being taken No. 1 in the 2001 NFL draft, Vick, who played college ball at Virginia Tech, bought his mother an approximately $1.4 million home on the banks of the James River in Suffolk, Va., just a few miles down the road from my home.
