Greenwich woman now heads state chapter of fraternal group

GREENWICH - Village resident Roberta Ronk has been installed as grand chief of the Pythian Sisters of Ohio. She is a 50-year member of the sisters.
The group is affiliated with the Order of Knights of Pythias and Auxiliary Pythian Sisters, an international fraternal organization dedicated to promoting cooperation and friendship between people of good will.
Ronk's altruistic project is breast cancer research. She is a 13-year breast cancer survivor and has participated in two research programs.
Ronk is a retired EMT from North Central EMS, where she worked since 1993. She and her husband, Dave, have five children, 11 grandchildren and two great grandsons.
