PLYMOUTH Nobody was injured when a Crawford County man ran his 1993 Lincoln Continental into a business building Thursday afternoon.
Kim A. Hershiser, 41, of Galion, was going between 40 and 50 mph about 1:40 p.m. when his vehicle plowed into 1 E. Main St., Plymouth Police Officer Dave Johnson said.
"Nobody was inside and no cars (were) parked on the road," he said. "His air bag deployed and he had his seat belt on."
Johnson said the car probably was totaled. Alcohol and drugs are not considered factors.
"He's paraplegic, so I guess something got stuck," the officer explained, referring to the special apparatus used to drive the car.
Hershiser was charged with failure to control.
