NEW LONDON - The fifth-annual Float Fly-in this past weekend at the New London Reservoir was a success, according to Bob James, president of the Firelands Float Flyers.
James said around 30 pilots brought remote-controlled sea planes and planes on floats to the event, which was sponsored by the Float Flyers club and Nitro Model Planes.
Anyone interested in remote-controlled airplanes is invited to look into the Firelands Float Flyers. Information can be found on the net at firelandsfloatflyers.com or by calling James during the week at (419) 929-6400.
Besides James, club officers are Paul Henry, vice president; David Schick, secretary; and Jim Souslin, treasurer.
