Fire safety a top priority at Fisher-Titus Medical Center

The Norwalk Fire Department and Fisher-Titus Home Health Center have been awarded scholarships to participate in a training conference dedicated to Remembering When: A Fire and Fall Prevention Program for Older Adults, developed by the National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA), Center for High-Risk Outreach. The awarded scholarships provide for travel expenses for two participants, Remembering When curriculum materials and all training.
Chief Doug Coletta of the Norwalk Fire Department and Debbi Cullen, operations manager of Fisher-Titus Home Health Center, will travel to a conference from Dec. 2 to 4 in Boston, Mass. Following the workshop, Norwalk Fire Department will conduct a minimum of five group presentations and at least two train-the-trainer sessions for Fisher-Titus Home Health Center. The home health center will integrate materials from the Remembering When program into its outreach through home visits.
