Few cars left at dealership

Rumors abound that the Norwalk Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership on Milan Avenue could be headed for new ownership.

A sales manager at the location, who declined to be identified, confirmed that he had heard rumors of a buyout of the 226 Milan Ave. car dealership, but said there have always been rumors and nothing official has been announced.

The buildings were all but empty this morning, other than a few desks, and the cars were moved into two separate areas on the lot. Otherwise, the lots were cleared out.

"We're still open," he said, adding anyone interested in buying a car should stop by.

Owned by the Norris Autogroup, Norwalk Chrysler Dodge Jeep's Web site says in just two years it "has emerged as the area's largest new and used car inventory dealership with rock bottom pricing and an extremely high percentage of satisfied customers."

A corporate spokesperson at the Medina Norris Auto Mall could not be reached for comment. However, an employee said the company was not making statements at this time, adding it might have something to comment on in a few days.
