Lots of people know that waste reduction is good for the environment. What many people don't realize is that solid waste prevention and recycling can reduce heat-trapping greenhouse gas emissions thus reducing climate change. As a partner in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's WasteWise Program, Fisher-Titus Medical Center's environmental stewardship has helped reduce the waste-related climate footprint.
