MILAN School personnel recently named Edison High School students "Student of the Quarter."
The students were: Bailey Bixler, art; Tom Knight, business; Kaitlin Davis, Katie Ferman, Matt Hoffer, Brittany Dillender and Katie Schwab, language arts; McKenzie Spriggs, French; and Caitlin Smith, Spanish; Nathan Seamans, Luke McCoy and Sophia Johnson, health/physical education; Keyanna Wolfkill, Brianne Bolding, Cody Noon and Evan Cornell, math; Myles Farais, music; Addison Spriggs, Lisa Elmlinger and Cory Schmidt, science; Mat Koelsch, Katie Ferman and Sarah Dunnavant, social studies; and Jeri Coburn, work and family life.
The students received certificates of merit to acknowledge their accomplishment and will have their names posted in the students commons area for nine weeks.
The "Student of the Quarter" was initiated in 1990 by the Edison faculty and members of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE). The purpose of the program is to honor and acknowledge students who achieve significant success in various academic fields.
