Fisher-Titus Medical Center and The Ohio State University Extension in Huron County are teaming up again to offer a fall session of Dining with Diabetes.

Designed for people with diabetes and their family members, the three-class series includes learning strategies to manage diabetes, tasting healthy foods and observing cooking demonstrations. The fall session is scheduled for 5 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2, 9 and 16 at The Carriage House of FTMC-Garden Level.

"Dining with Diabetes offers people with diabetes hands-on ways to incorporate healthy, great tasting recipes into family meals," said Tracy Stadler, certified diabetes educator and registered dietitian at FTMC.

Each class will include dinner, a demonstration of recipes with Deb Angell of The OSU Extension, a lesson with Stadler and a tasting of recipes.

The cost for the series is $15 per person or $25 per couple. Space is limited and registration is required. To register call (419) 663-1975, ext. 6560.
