A Fayette Road, New London, resident reported losing her Motorola cell phone Jan. 10 at a Westwind Drive business.

Responded to a domestic disturbance Wednesday on Milan Avenue. April L. Short, 25, and Lois L. Perry, 44, both of 520 Milan Ave., Lot 139, were charged with disorderly conduct. Short was held at the city jail until sober. Perry was arrested on a Summersville, W.Va. warrant on a felony count of trafficking in drugs and is being held at the Huron County Jail for an extradition hearing.

Responded to a two-vehicle rear end collision Wednesday near a Benedict Avenue business. There was no vehicle damage.

Mark Urbine, 33, of 28G Bouscay Ave., was arrested on two warrants today and charged with passing bad checks. He is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.


A Bevier Road, Willard, resident reported the attempted theft of a snowmobile Wednesday.

A Kok Road, Willard, resident reported damage to a vehicle and two suspects on a four-wheeler attempted to get into a trailer Wednesday.

Two deputies met the Willard Police Department on Neal Zick Road, Willard, in connection with recovering two stolen all-terrain vehicles from the city.

A Neal Zick Road, Willard, resident reported the unauthorized entry into his vehicle and theft of $5 in cash and some change Wednesday. A deputy reported finding footprint tracks in a field south of a nearby intersection where a vehicle had parked and the suspects apparently led to three different addresses.

An area motorist reported someone broke the driver's side door window while his vehicle was parked at a Postema Court, Willard, business Wednesday.

Dispatchers were advised of an alarm activation Wednesday on DeRussey Road, Collins.

A West River Road, Wakeman, resident reported finding a boat Wednesday that may have washed in from previous flooding.

Recovered an all-terrain vehicle Wednesday which had been reported stolen out of the Ashland County Sheriff's Office.

A South Main Street, North Fairfield, resident reported the suspected theft of prescription drugs Wednesday.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about a U.S. 250, New London, domestic dispute Wednesday.

An employee of Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton requested a deputy check on the well-being of a Wenz Road, Wakeman, employee who recently had surgery but didn't come to work Wednesday.
