Joseph N. Simmons Jr., 55, of Neptune, N.J., was charged with failure to control April 23 after his tractor-trailer went off the right side of Ohio 4 and overturned in a field. Bellevue firefighters transported him to The Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries. No information was available on Simmons' condition.
No citation was immediately issued after the April 24 collision between the vehicles driven by Arlena M. Hicks, 38, of 1837 Thomas Road, Willard, and Grace M. Reed, 49, of 319 Keefer St., Willard, on Ohio 61. Hicks is accused of hitting the rear of Reed's minivan and continuing north. A relative took Reed and her passenger, Sierra M. Reed, 1, to Fisher-Titus Medical Center with minor and possible injuries, respectively. No further information was available.
Pete A. Witner Sr., 53, of Mansfield, was charged with failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign Monday in the collision with the vehicle driven by Christina M. Fetter, 55, of 39 Boughtonville Road, Willard, at the intersection of Peru Center Road and Ohio 103. Willard EMS transported Fetter to Mercy Hospital of Willard, where she was treated for minor injuries and released.
