The director of facilities at Fisher-Titus Medical Center reported the theft of an air conditioner refrigeration cores from a storage unit sometime between July 6 and Monday. The unit was valued at $9,875.

Responded to the report of gun shots Tuesday on North Pleasant Street, where several adults were having a party. Police found no evidence of shots being fired. Corey J. Williams, 29, whose address was unavailable, was arrested on an Erie County Common Pleas Court warrant and charged with failure to pay child support. Williams was turned over to an Erie County sheriff's deputy.

Roy L. Elkin Jr., 33, whose address was unavailable, was charged with disorderly conduct in connection with a Norwood Avenue incident today. He was held in the city jail until sober.


The owner of a South U.S. 250 business reported the suspects in an attempted theft Tuesday left heading south in a four-door silver or gray Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra. The complainant requested extra patrol in the area.

An employee of an Ohio 103, Willard, business reported a trespassing incident Tuesday.

An area motorist accused someone of littering from a vehicle Tuesday on Ohio 61 between Plymouth and New Haven.

Dispatchers were advised of an alarm activation Tuesday on New State Road.

A North Old State Road resident reported someone entered two vehicles Tuesday. The contents of one vehicle had been ransacked and a cell phone and some change were missing.

An employee of a West U.S. 224, New Haven, business reported receiving a $343 bogus check Tuesday.

A Hartland Center Road, Collins, resident reported a dispute over a property line Tuesday.

An Ohio 103, Willard, resident reported the suspected misuse of his debit card, which the victim still had his possession Tuesday.

A Troy Mills Road, Willard, resident reported catching two suspects trying to steal his aluminum cans Tuesday and made them unload them. The complainant is still missing a truck load of cans.

An area resident reported seeing a suspicious vehicle enter the wildlife reserve on Bullhead Road, Willard, Tuesday.

A North U.S. 250 resident reported several tools were missing from his unlocked shed Tuesday.
