WAKEMAN — Investigators found suspected Oxycontin on a male suspect while using a search warrant Thursday in the 5800 block of Ohio303. The man is not being named because he hasn’t been charged or arrested.

Huron County Sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Dane Howard said officers found 39 pills in a prescription bottle with its label partially ripped when police were patting down the man. Howard said all charges are pending until the drugs are tested at a Mansfield police lab.

“We should have results in a few days,” he added.
