Craig Roth of Norwalk was recently named to the dean's list for the sessions ending in June and in October, at The University of Northwestern in Lima. He is in his second year, majoring in diesel and ag mechanics. While attending college he is also working full time at a Buckeye Truck Center in Lima.
He was also recently awarded a $500 scholarship from the Huron County Farm Bureau.
He was a 2006 graduate of Monroeville High School and EHOVE Career Center. While in school he was actively involved in FFA, 4-H, Huron County Junior Fairboard, 4-H Camp Counselor and in community service activities. He also works at home on the family farm.
He is the son of Russell and Jean Roth of Norwalk.
Cari Hahler, a junior physical therapy major at The University of Findlay, has been elected to serve as secretary of Aristos Eklektos, an honor society of students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, service and academic ability. At UF, Hahler participates in president of the Newman club and serves as a resident director.
Hahler, a 2005 graduate of Willard High School, is the daughter of Mary and Robert Hahler, of Willard.
Michael Biller of Norwalk is a member of the Criminal Justice Club at Ashland University. He is the son of Ida Biller and is majoring in criminal justice. Members of the Criminal Justice Club hold regular meetings and host guest speakers. They also work to promote the study of criminal justice.
Anthony Leimeister of Norwalk recently won a $1,000 Merit Award scholarship from the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Leimeister studies surveying engineering technology at The University of Akron.
