Norwalk Church of Christ

Sunday features a lesson entitled "The Example of Stephen" at 10:30 a.m. and Sunday evening features a lesson entitled "Why Israel Failed: They Rejected God's

Form of Government" at 6. This church also has Bible studies for all ages at 9:30 a.m. Sunday and at 7 p.m. Wednesday. More information about this church is available at norwalkchurch.org.

Clarksfield UMC

CLARKSFIELD This church, located at 5151 Zenobia Road, worships at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, but there will be an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. followed with a breakfast immediately after the service.

Sunday school service will be at 9:15 a.m. The 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday will have Rev. Patty Jo Sheldon's sermon titled, "He Lives, He Lives,"

Norwalk Baptist

This church, located at the corner of U.S. 20 West and Halfway Road, just west of Big Lots, invites the community to a special public concert by tenor soloist, Eric John Hawout, at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Dr. Michael J. Smith, will bring a special Easter message and there will be special prizes for the children who bring friends/guests. The usual 6 p.m. Sunday service will not be held. For more details call (419) 668-1563.

St. Mary/St. Anthony

The blessing of Easter food will take place at 1 p.m. today at St. Anthony.

The Easter Vigil will be held at 8:30 p.m. today at St. Mary, beginning with the blessing of the new fire. Two young women will be welcomed into the church during the vigil service.

Easter morning masses will be at 8:30 at St. Mary, and 10:30 at St. Anthony.

Congregational Community UCC

MONROEVILLE This church, located at 29 Chapel St., Monroeville, will celebrate the resurrection on Sunday at the 7 or 10:30 a.m. worship services. A continental breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. and there will be an Easter egg hunt and special craft for children during Sunday school starting at 9:15 a.m.

North Fairfield UMC

NORTH FAIRFIELD The Holy Grounds coffee house opens at 9:30 a.m. with small groups for all ages at 10. Worship begins at 10:45 a.m. Sunday. The meditation is "Resurrection" based on Matthew 28:1-7, Mark 16:1-7, Luke 24:1-3 and John 20:1.

Steuben UCC

STEUBEN The Easter Sunday service will begin at 11 a.m. The scripture lessons are Acts 10:34-43; Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24; 1 Corinthians 15:19-26; and Luke 24:1-12. Holy communion will be celebrated.

Calvary Baptist, Norwalk

There will be two Easter services for this day only which will feature a new series of messages "Extreme Makeover" at 8 and 10:15 a.m. The choir will present a concert called, "Behold the Lamb" in the second service and a hot breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. There will be no evening services.

First Baptist, Norwalk

This church, located at 67 E. Main St., has Sunday school at 9:15 a.m. and worship at 10:30. All church activities from Tuesday through Friday will be canceled due to spring break.

Norwalk Alliance

Easter Sunday worship services will be at 9 and 10:45 a.m. Pastor Bruce Rzengota will speak on "The Ultimate Hero" and celebrating His victory. Bible fellowship classes for all ages are at 10:45 a.m. with a nursery available during both services.

Beginning April 15, there will be a study of Old Testament heroes called "Are You Next on the List?"
