Children must have curfews

Norwalk Reflector Staff • Oct 29, 2015 at 12:50 PM

Friday was work as usual but as always there was a twist. I went out the back door to check out a noise only to find a small kitten that someone apparently dumped and the children from the feeding program brought her in as well as an older kitten onto the property.

By the time I went home, we had to take the smaller one, a precious little female, to be put to sleep. Apparently it got into some sort of concoction that made her quite ill. The other went home with me. It is a shame that this precious gift from God had to die because people weren't able to care for her and dumped her like trash.

The biggest point is that I see children out all hours of the night, as long as they don't inconvenience Ma and Pa. Or the excuse that, "oh it's summer let them have fun." People, there are drug dealers, child predators and two-ton vehicles that could cripple your child for life or, God forbid, kill them. It is time we become parents and show our children discipline by setting curfews and God forbid rules.

Drug dealers or perverts won't care if this is your only child or if it is your only son or only daughter.
