CHAMBER CHATTER - Want help clearing clutter? Attend Tuesday's meeting

Norwalk Reflector Staff • Oct 29, 2015 at 12:52 PM

Are your filing cabinets stuffed? Do you resort to digging through boxes when you need to retrieve an old file? Do you have to retain records for compliance issues? (Gotcha there, all businesses really have to answer "yes" to this one!) Big or small, service, retail, manufacturing or government, every business deals with the dilemma of record keeping and storage.

We are offering you a chance to learn about Electronic Document Management from MT Business Technologies, and you thought they just sold copiers. They will be conducting two identical seminars at 7:30 and 11 a.m. Tuesday, both at Sheri's Coffee House, and both free of charge. Learn how to make your storage of required documents less space consuming, reclaim your office space, be better prepared for disasters, and be more competitive.

Please call the office now, (419) 668-4155, and RSVP for your preferred seminar time.

These are the last few days to get free tickets to the Chevy Drags at Summit Motorsports Park this weekend. Treat your employees, family and friends to a great weekend of fun right in our own backyard. Stop in at the office, 10 W. Main St., and pick up tickets while they last. Many businesses have reported their employees are really excited about the weekend and the opportunity to take their families to the event. Our appreciation goes out to the folks at the American Drag Racing League and Flowmaster for making this possible.

Through their generosity we have been able to distribute 40,000 tickets to the business community and there are several additional outlets in the area distributing tickets as well. Don't miss out on the fun stop in today for your tickets.

Another great event will also happen on Saturday with the grand opening of E's Glow Tanning Salon located in the Apples Plaza. Join us as we cut the ribbon with salon owner Erica Neely at 11:45 a.m. and take advantage of E's Tan Free Weekend. Grand opening hours will be noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Summer is winding down and we are winding up.

The fall finale golf outing is coming up Sept. 19 at Eagle Creek. Sign-ups are underway and we'd welcome your foursome, raffle prizes and proximity prizes.

Sponsorships are also available for various features of the day. Call the office to register your team and get ready to tee off on a great day of fun in the sun.
