Insurance Services wins top award

The staff of Insurance Services of Norwalk, Ron Dee, Rusty Breitbach, Chandra Nopper, Michelle Myers and Aaron Fries, has earned the distinction of "Presidential Agency Partner" from Western Reserve Group Insurance Company.

The designation of "Presidential Agency Partner" is awarded to those agencies which have attained the highest level of performance with Western Reserve Group through sound business practices, professional advice and superior customer service. Insurance Services of Norwalk, an independent insurance agency, has represented Western Reserve Group, a property/casualty insurance company of Wooster, since Aug. 1986.

Fanning earns recertification

Dr. James E. Fanning just completed recertification in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Fanning has been a member of North Coast Cancer Care for the past nine years.

Specializing in the treatment of blood disorders, Fanning received his postgraduate training at The Ohio State University and at The Duke Medical Center.

Fanning lives with his family in Perkins Township. He has privileges at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Fisher-Titus Medical Center, The Bellevue Hospital, Memorial Hospital (Fremont) and Magruder Hospital.

Precision Paving named top business

MILAN - Precision Paving has been named the 2006 Business of the Year by the Milan Chamber of Commerce.

Precision Paving is now in its sixth full year of operation providing a wide array of asphalt and excavating services including road and parking lot construction, repair and resurfacing.

Precision Paving is an Ohio Department of Transportation approved laborer's and operator's union signatory company that has grown and built its reputation based on a commitment to "Workmanship with Uncompromising Quality."

The company is owned by Mike Kegarise, Jeff Crecelius and Matt Kluding.

During the construction season, Precision Paving employs 35 additional individuals.

Darrell Moll elected to executive board

COLUMBUS - The Professional Photographers of Ohio (PPO) announces the election of its executive board for the association's 2007-2008 term.

PPO's newest officers are Jon Johnson, chairman of the board Wheelersburg; Gregg Wurtzler, president Dayton; Scott Gloger, president-elect Beachwood; Darrell Moll, vice president Norwalk; Aaron Patterson, treasure r Cuyahoga Falls; and Kristin Woods, secretary Bristolville.

Established in 1954, the PPO has more than 600 members state-wide and makes it their goal to enhance the lives of its members in a spirit of friendship by challenging and motivating their personal advancement, through progressive education, leading-edge technology and elevated public awareness.

The Association is affiliated with the Professional Photographers of America. PPO was also host to the Mid-East States Affiliate Print Competition and Exhibition which consists of photographic associations from Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
