Break-in suspect, 17, released on house arrest

Huron County Juvenile Court Judge Timothy Cardwell released a 17-year-old Norwalk boy from detention Monday. He now faces 24-hour adult supervision on electronically-monitored house arrest.

Cardwell also prohibited the boy from being on the premises of the Huron County Highway Department, businesses on Benedict Avenue and East Seminary Street as well as an Anna Drive address. The judge also said the boy is allowed to attend church or school, but either his mother, stepfather or 21-year-old sister must take him directly from home to school.
