Todd Robinson is the owner of his new business venture, Inventive Staffing. The company is a unique niche search firm specializing in technical and professional placement.

Robinson brings more than seven years of recruiting experience to the five-county service area Erie, Huron, Lorain, Ottawa and Sandusky counties.

There are two primary customers who would be interested in the services of Inventive Staffing those companies looking to fill vacancies and those individuals looking for work.

Companies can hire Inventive Staffing for their professional placement needs. The investment includes the following services: recruiting methods; screening of applicants; background checks; drug screens; reference checks; and Psychological Testing

Shepherd promoted

WILLARD MTD Midwest Industries, in Willard, announces the promotion of Jerry Shepherd to the position of general manager. Shepherd replaces Rob Fox, who has accepted a corporate position.

Shepherd brings 22 years of MTD experience to his new position. Areas of previous responsibility include electrical engineering manager, facilities engineering manager and, most recently, plant manager of fabrication.

He will be responsible for both manufacturing and distribution of the MTD Willard Division.
