Hairway 61 hosts hair color seminar
Redken 5th Avenue certified color specialist Nicole Arndt delivered her technical skills at a recent Redken Haircolor Collections Seminar at Hairway 61 Salon & Spa, 151 Ohio 61 East, Norwalk.
The salon team was shown spring shades introducing the best blondes, beautiful brunettes and racy reds. The complete benefits and range of color options will deliver long-lasting results, exceptional condition and shine, plus there are hundreds of shades to maximize creativity.
The Hairway 61 Salon & Spa team captured new tips, formulas and techniques.
Arndt also presented the team with educational tools to help the employees develop skills and give them comprehensive, integrated ideas on keeping their clients in touch with what's new and what's next within the fashion and beauty industries.
Judy Wright named employee of month
Judy Wright has been named employee of the month at ProMedica.
She has been an employee at ProMedica for more than 20 years. She recently assisted a patient through the long process of obtaining disability and supported her personally and by advocating for her in the community to meet her needs until her disability checks started coming in. That included helping her buy groceries, find a way to pay her rent and keep the utilities on.
She is committed and enthusiastic, according to her nomination information. Her job responsibilities have never limited her from jumping in and taking on whatever needs to be done. She is flexible, adaptable, and brilliant in "finding a way where there seems to be no way."
She is involved in bettering the community through her long involvement with Hosteling which has involved her with the Girl Scouts and several yearly bike tours for different local charities.
Judy Nedveski Wright is a 1965 graduate of Norwalk High School and a 1968 graduate of Providence School of Nursing. In 1980 she received her master's degree from Toledo University.
RR Donnelley lauds longtime employee
WILLARD Steve Chambers will celebrate Thursday his 30 years of service at RR Donnelley in Willard. He was hired in 1977 as a press takeaway. He has worked as a lead press takeaway, rolltender, 2/c assistant pressman, and currently is an M/C Sheetfed Assistant Pressman.
Chambers lives in Willard with his wife, Arlene. They have four children, Chase, Kim, Kirsten and Wendy, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
