Activity important for seniors' health

National data indicate that few older persons engage in regular physical activity, according to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.

"But, exercise is beneficial at all ages, especially as we grow older and may be experiencing a loss of strength, flexibility and endurance," said Joyce Hill, Fisher-Titus Medical Center's director of rehabilitation.
