Northside Country Kids

The club met July 1 at St. Alphonsus Church. Members painted clover-shaped yard signs. Gavin Blanton and Simon Gravelle shared their experiences at Cloverbud Camp. Members also worked on the club quilting project.

Several members participated in demonstrations. Rebekah Helmstetter showed pictures she shot in Alaska for her photography project. Sarah Giles shared worksheets and identified parts of a turkey. Meagan Music shared worksheets and identified parts of a hog. Mrs. Hamernik showed how to make a cake out of ice cream sandwiches.

4-Leaf Clovers

The club met July 3 at St. Alphonsus Hall. Officer reports were given by Nick Nay, Andy Pylant, and Samantha Cherney. Nick Nay read off the calendar of upcoming events. Andy Pylant gave a news report. Samantha Cherney gave a recycling tip.

Club members discussed our trip to Monsoon Lagoon. A demonstration was given by Jenna Burrow about clothing. Refreshments were provided by the Burrows.

Busy Needles

The club met June 25 at the United Methodist Church.

Shelby Linder led the pledges.

Members discussed the 4-H dance at the fairgrounds and 4-H camp. Emmy Linder gave a presentation on the Heimlich and members discussed the county fair booth.

Lyme Producers

On July 9, members filled out fair cards and club T-shirt orders. There is one volunteer for the demonstration contest this year.

Judging for food projects July 31.

Chicken pullorium testing Aug. 2.

The next meeting is at 7 p.m. Monday at the Lyme Grange.

This club met July 17 at Valley Beach for a family picnic and meeting. Eleven members were present. Family members led the pledge.

Attending members worked on green cards and project books were checked. Final questions about projects and judging were answered.

The group held swimming activities and had a cookout.

The next meeting is at 7 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Trinity Lutheran Church social room. Final preparations will be made for fair and project books.

Lyme Clever Clovers

The club met July 10 at Seybert Methodist Church.

Jessica Savage led the pledges. Jamie Savage gave the secretary's report. Jacklyn Scheid gave the treasurer's report.

Members got their fair entry cards filled out and candy money was turned in.

Jessica Brown did a demonstration on digital photography, while Emily Bollenbacher gave a demonstration on measuring liquids. Jacklyn Scheid's demonstration was on how to pack your bag when going on a trip. Sara Pawsey did a demonstration on plate setting.

The next meeting is at 6 p.m. July 31 at Seybert Methodist Church.

Greenwich Country


This group met March 22 at Greenwich Methodist Church. There were 37 members present.

Members elected officers at this meeting. The officers are: Kristina Kieffer, president; Maggie Bacon, vice president; Jordan Ryerson, treasurer; Olivia Starkey, secretary; Michael Kieffer, reporter; David Seidel, health officer; Carrie Lorcher, safety officer; Brandon Ryerson, recreation officer.
