NORTH FAIRFIELD — "Our Volunteers are Souper," was the theme of this year's annual Huron County 4-H leader's recognition banquet, which was held recently in North Fairfield at The American Legion Hall. The banquet was held in conjunction with Ohio 4-H Week.
The tables were decorated with soup cans and the night was highlighted with poems about how "souper" the 4-H program is ran by volunteers. Throughout the night, 4-H youth committee members spoke about how important 4-H advisors and other 4-H program volunteers are to a successful 4-H program. Countless advisors and volunteers were honored throughout the night for helping to make the 4-H program in Huron County such a great organization for youth to be involved in.
