Western Reserve dance team set to compete in Columbus

COLLINS The Western Reserve High School Dance Team is making plans to compete again at the Arnold Cheerleading and Dance Team Nationals March 4 in Columbus.

The competition is organized by US Spirit. There currently are 11 dance team members under the direction of advisor Vicki Williams. The team competed last year and took second place in the pom division.

The team is looking for sponsors to help defray the costs. Donations should be made to the Western Reserve Dance Team. Mail them to Western Reserve High School, attention Vicki Williams, dance adviser, 3841 U.S. 20, Collins, Ohio 44826.

The team will continue its current fundraisers. Team members are selling certificates and gift cards for more than 300 businesses. You pay the face value of the card and the team gets a portion.

They are selling house number signs. The rectangular signs are $12 and the square sign with the WR mascot horse head are $22 each. The blue signs with white lettering are very visible at night. It would help emergency vehicles find your house if the need would ever arise. They also have Western Reserve sports and activity window decals available in white or blue for $4 each. They also have some already printed that will be sold for $3.50.
