Roadtrip the best cure for bad back and winter blues

This is the time of year when I start to get restless. I want to rearrange the furniture or paint something. No, better yet, I want my husband to rearrange the furniture or paint something, under my careful and thoughtful direction, of course. Unfortunately, my back "went out" over the weekend and I have already exceeded the decent number of requests that should be put upon any husband.
I spent the better part of the last two days lying on a heated back massage pad, watching the playoffs, and being waited on by my family. If it wasn't for the pain, this would be my idea of paradise. Oh, I get up occasionally and shuffle pathetically around the house even though I can't quite stand up straight and trying to walk is excruciating. But I heard somewhere that walking might actually be good for back problems. I have yet to be convinced.
