Holiday fruit baskets can help with resolution to eat healthy

Fruit is a great holiday gift because fruits are so nutritious and a welcome change from the many sweets traditionally given over the holidays. Now that the holidays are over and we are into a new year, many people who received a fruit basket as a gift at the holidays wonder how they will use all that fruit before it deteriorates.
Don't let that holiday fruit basket go to waste. The new year is a great time to make a resolution to start eating healthier. For good health, most people should have about two cups of fruit daily. Munch on those fruits in your holiday gift basket, use them in recipes and commit to better health in 2007. Here are some ideas for storage and use of common gift basket fruits.
