Nurse aide class

AVERY EHOVE Ghrist Adult Career Center will hold a restorative/rehabilitative nurse aide class from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 30 and 31

Nurse aides can improve or increase their skills through this two-day workshop. Designed for anyone interested in geriatrics or who works with or cares for geriatric clients in the home setting. Twelve hours of inservice credit is available to participants who attend both sessions. Lunch is not included. Tuition cost is $175.

'Go Red for Women"

The Huron County Heart Health Coalition will present "Go Red For Women A Fun and Educational Benefit Luncheon and Fashion Show" on Jan. 27 at the new St. Paul Parish Center, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk. The featured speaker is David Vanata, Ph.D., who will talk about "Living on Wine and Chocolate Myths and Truths about Nutrition."

Registration begins at 11 a.m. with lunch starting at 11:15 and the program, which also will include a fashion show and auction, to follow.
