The following people hit deer Wednesday: Paulette Schemenauer, 67, of Toledo, on U.S. 20; and Zoran Mitanoski, 47, of Warren, Mich., on U.S. 250.

Joshua S. Roberts, 25, of Maumee, was charged with failure to control Thursday after he went off the right side of Ohio 4. The trailer spun in the road and caused the tractor-trailer to overturn onto its left side in a ditch. Roberts was not transported for minor injuries.


Responded to an alarm activation at 2:20 p.m. Thursday at 135 Sycamore Drive. Returned to station at 2:32.


An East Main Street resident reported telephone harassment Thursday.

Renee E. Dennis, 28, of Fremont, was served a summons on a warrant Thursday after turning herself into the police station. She was charged with one count of passing bad checks.

A Fort Wayne, Ind. resident accused a West Key Drive resident of using her personal information to obtain telephone service Thursday. The complainant had advised a collection agency, which was demanding about $1,140 in overdue bills, of the situation. The incident remains under investigation.

Responded to a Benedict Avenue business fight Thursday. No citations were issued.


An area resident reported someone slashed the sidewall of the passenger side rear tire of his daughter's vehicle that was parked at Western Reserve High School between Wednesday and Thursday.

Dispatchers were advised of an alarm activation Thursday at a North U.S. 250 business.

An East U.S. 20, Wakeman, resident reported a domestic dispute Thursday.

Dispatchers were advised of a medical alert Thursday on Collins Road, Collins.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about someone reported a suspected intoxicated male suspect with a disabled vehicle Thursday on Old State Road.
