You can’t get more local than 99 to Main, which is named in Willard’s honor. Area residents are invited to listen to friends and neighbors play classic favorites and Southern rock, with a touch of country mixed in. The concert, which takes place from 7 to 9 p.m., promises to be an exciting rock-and-roll experience music-lovers won’t want to miss.
99 to Main boasts years of experience, having performed for many years. The band played multiple times at Willard’s annual Festival in the Park and other various shows around the area including Ohio Bike Week. The group consists entirely of Willard residents and has deemed itself “Willard’s hometown band.” Together the group shares the love of music and having a good time together.
Concessions will be available for those looking for a good and convenient dinner. Concert-goers also can bring a picnic basket and take advantage of the covered picnic tables.
In the event of rain or other inclement weather, the concert will be held indoors at the Depot building, adjacent to the regular concert area.
The Concerts in the Park series is presented by Pepperidge Farm and the city of Willard recreation department. Every Tuesday night through Aug. 13, a different group or performer plays and the music styles can range from bluegrass or rock to classical or folk.
