Ohio 162 to close Monday

Ohio 162, between New London Lafayette Road and New London East Road, will close Monday for railroad crossing repairs.

The detour route for eastbound motorists is Ohio 162 to Ohio 60, north on Ohio 60 to Ohio 18, east on Ohio 18 to Ohio 511, south on Ohio 511 to Ohio 162, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Saturday, June 29.

Another section of Ohio 162 — from U.S. 250 to the Village of New London — will have single lane closures for a chip seal project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete July 2019.

Meanwhile, Ohio 547 between Ohio 269 and Ohio 4 has re-opened. It was previously closed for a culvert replacement.

U.S. Route 20

U.S. 20, just east of the Village of Wakeman, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project and structure repairs. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete AugU.S.t 15, 2019.

U.S. 20, at the structure over the Vermillion River, in the Village of Wakeman, will have reduced lane widths and traffic shifted to complete bridge repair work. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.

State Route 99

Ohio 99, between Bauman Rd. and North Greenfield Rd., closed Monday for a culvert replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is Ohio 99 to U.S. 224, west on U.S. 224 to Ohio 4, north on Ohio 4 to U.S. 20, east on U.S. 20 to Ohio 99, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Friday, June 28.

State Route 103

Ohio 103, between Ohio 99 and Ohio 61, will have single lane closures for a smooth seal project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete June 2019.

State Route 269

Ohio 269, through the City of Bellevue, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete in August.

State Route 113

Ohio 113, from U.S. 20 to just past Prairie Road, will have traffic reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. This is a part of the Ohio 269 project listed above. The project is expected to be completed in August.

U.S. Route 224

U.S. 224, just east of Bullhead Road, is closed for a culvert replacement. The detour route for westbound motorists will be U.S. 224 to Ohio 598, north on Ohio 598 to Ohio 103, west on Ohio 103 to Ohio 99, south on Ohio 99 to U.S. 224, and reverse for eastbound motorists. U.S. 224 is expected to reopen Thursday. Bullhead Road, however, will remain closed for 30 days as part of this project. Bullhead Road is expected to reopen Wednesday, July 3.

U.S. 224, between Lane Road and Greenwich Milan Township Road, will close Thursday for railroad crossing repairs. The detour route for eastbound motorists is U.S. 224 to Ohio 61, north on Ohio 61 to Ohio 162, east on Ohio 162 to Ohio 13, south on Ohio 13 to U.S. 224, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Friday.

State Route 598

Ohio 598, from the Richland County line to Ohio 61, will have single lane closures for a smooth seal project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be completed this month.
