Monroeville homecoming queen to be crowned Friday

MONROEVILLE — The 2018 Monroeville High School homecoming queen will be crowned Friday at an assembly prior to the football game against South Central at Marsh Field.

The senior attendants are Joselyn Brown, Madison Elmlinger, Samantha Ott, Isabel Smith and Stacia Stieber. The other attendants are: Junior Camryn Hedrick, sophomore Lydia Landoll and freshman Olivia Sattler. The queen will be recognized Friday at the game, when the Eagles (2-2) host the undefeated South Central Trojans.

Spirit Week began with a powder-puff football game between classes and a bonfire social Monday night at Marsh Field. Class competitions have been in the morning each day.

The traditional community homecoming assembly is at 1 p.m. Friday The dance is Saturday.
