Those who apply must be living in their home 12 months a year, with a furnace that does not operate and is beyond repair. Eligible applicants must lack the financial means or assets to replace their furnace. Those who apply will be required to be current on their taxes and show proof of household income as part of the financial assessment for verifying eligibility.
Serving Our Seniors’ Furnace Replacement Program is a service of last resort. If the applicant qualifies for an existing furnace replacement program, Serving Our Seniors will help the applicant obtain a furnace through the other program first.
