The Ohio Department of Transportation recently provided updates on both Ohio 99 construction projects.

For the Ohio 99 crack sealing, which is taking place from U.S. 20 to the Erie County line, the road is reduced to one lane of traffic for crack sealing. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be finished in July.

For the culvert replacement project on the same road, Ohio 99, between Hanville Corners and Bauman roads, is closed for two bridge replacements. The second bridge replacement is now in phase. Ohio 99, between Sand Hill and Pontiac Section Line Roads, is closed for a culvert replacement.

The detour route for northbound motorists is Ohio 99 to Ohio 162, east on Ohio 162 to Ohio 61, north on Ohio 61 to U.S. 20, northwest on U.S. 20 to Ohio 99, and reverse for southbound motorists. The detour route is for both closures. The roadway is expected to re-open in July.
