Let's get politics out of it

NOTE: John Lichoff of Norwalk submitted this letter to the editor.

Why at election time?

Every day at lunchtime I see a couple of Norwalk firerigters doing their lunch shopping at Miller’s while driving a city-owned fire vehicle.

How is that different than the mayor driving his supposedly city-owned car?

This was only brought up because it is election time. I don’t care about the candidates, but the way the mayor is being treated.

Isn’t Dave Wallace a former firefighter? And didn’t he do the same thing when he drove a city-owned vehicle to get his lunch?

I don’t care who wins as long as they do their job.
