When there is flight, the right to fight is not might

NOTE: The following letter to the editor was submitted by Richard Missler of Norwalk:

NRA stand your ground laws weaponize culture. The accommodating values of good citizenship and the bringing together religion fosters are usurped by a hair trigger mentality that pushes a tiff into a deadly rift.

The NRA has even done a shift. It recently confronted physicians groups with an ominous “stay in your own lane” warning regarding doctors’ attempts to de-escalate gun violence.

Road rage against doctors means the NRA has run out of arguments and is losing its composure. Indeed, the last three shootings of note all involved good guys with guns being shot down as bad guys.

Stand your ground and run aground, so backdown. When there is flight, the right to fight is not might. NRA DNA is aberration.
